  oral and maxillofacial surgeon\, has been a certified CPR instructor for 
 more than 25 years\, providing CPR certification to hundreds of local dent
 ists and their staff.EDUCATION OBJECTIVES &amp\; GOALSHeart disease is the
  number one killer in the United States today.  Many fatalities could be p
 revented with basic lifesaving techniques.  This course provides dentists 
 and their staff with the knowledge and skills needed in order to properly 
 respond to cardiopulmonary emergencies.  This program utilizes hands-on pr
 actice sessions for all participants.Emphasizing hand-on basic life suppor
 t CPR for the healthcare provider and staff\, we will provide instruction 
 in adult and child CPR\, two-person adult and child CPR\, obstructive airw
 ay and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification\, as well as i
 nfant one and two-person CPR and obstructed airway management.EDUCATIONAL

 cational materials and will be providing a live question and answer sessio
