THIS CLASS WILL BE OFFERED AS A LIVE WEBINAR
COURSE DESCRIPTION/ EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Implants have made dentistry grow in many directions. They have helped us to provide a higher standard of care to patients. Patients have had the ability to choose the option of fixed teeth rather than removable. Unfortunately, there are still boundaries to this treatment: the “fixed” implant option is not affordable to everyone. Anatomy may preclude implant positioning and some patients may object to multiple surgeries.
An overdenture option is a “go between” option for those patients who are straddling the world of removable and fixed. This can be an excellent option for patients with difficult arches to treat, and those with on a moderate budget.
- Patient scenarios to incorporate “implant overdentures” – treatment planning.
- Clinical requirements for procedure.
- Design concepts for overdentures.
- Review of patient cases.
