NYSDA Advocacy will follow a new format this year. We are holding a virtual legislative reception this Thursday, April 22 to be followed with local grassroots meetings with legislators in your components over the next few month.

Speakers will include various NYSDA leadership as well as New York State’s top legislators, including Assemblyperson Dick Gottfried; Senate Majority Leader, Andrea Stewart-Cousins; Deputy Majority Leader, Michael Gianaris; as well as Lieutenant Governor, Kathy Hochul.

Reach out to Patty Marcucia at pmarcucia@nysdental.org if you have any questions.

2021 Advocacy Day Agenda

The New York State Dental Association is the leading oral health advocate in our State. NYSDA is constantly on guard to influence public policies affecting the practice of dentistry in NY and the oral health of the American public.  Add your voice to the more than 13,000 NYSDA members who make it possible for dentistry to be heard.

Headquartered in Albany, NYSDA lobbies Public Policy Makers—fighting for things that matter to dentists and the patients they serve. We also provide technical support to help component dental societies advance their respective policy agendas and protect the profession in your local communities.
